First let me say that I am chuckling because you linked to Fox News' poll. But everyone says that Fox News is a right wing rag (don't you call it Faux News, DuWayne?) yet now you are willing to accept them as an accurate source. lol

Secondly, polls are about perception, and for me have no bearing on what is fact. To me, this polls demonstrates that the MSM and Bush haters are doing a better job than their counterpart. Maybe the shake up and new press secretary will help our side do a better job.

I think the word is Irony. I linked to a rightwing propaganda station's poll showing the president 33% not because I think they are accurate but because they are mouth breathing sychophants of his administration. When it's too ugly for them to airbrush it's bad - real bad.

When we are talking about a failed Iraq policy, failed energy policy, (gas over $3 just up the road) Record deficits, an insane Iran policy, an unparralelled healthcare crisis, the loss of an American city and an econly in the shitter, yes I do think it's about perception. And in spite of FOX, MSN, CNN and broadcast tee vee news giving him every rosy picture possible, reality has broken through and exposed him as an incompetent liar who is destroying this country and breaking the middle class.

By and by, your president is scaring the hell out of a lot of people with his pseudo nuke test in Nevada. As if being clear that nukes are on the table in Iran wasn't scary enough he's going to blow up a 700 ton bomb for testing the results of a small tactical nuke.

I pray for the president, I pray that he won't do any more damage to this country before he leaves office. I pray that he grows a pair and has the decency to resign. I pray that this country can recover from the damage he has done quickly.

This is America, we are not perfect, but what we have is still better than most countries. You pray for "recovery" you say, that is your perception on things and I am not going to say your perception is wrong. My prayer is that our country can come together someday on lots of issues which we disagree on. We can solve all of the problems you listed if we just started working together.

DuWayne, although I still do not think America is in dire straights, I realize that I am losing faith in our president, and I really pray that he can restore it very soon.

Every president is not perfect and Bush is one of them.
